Remaining time:

The Curious Incident extends run by 14 weeks

The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night Time has extended its run at the Apollo Theatre by 14 weeks.

Following high ticket sales and heavy demand, the producers have decided to extend the shows run for a further 14 weeks, now booking until 31 August 2013. The show is due to make it's premiere on 1st March with press night on 12 March.

Leading man Luke Treadaway  will return to the production to share the role of 15 year old Christopher Boone with Johnny Gibbon while co-star Niamh Cusack will also return to her role as Christopher's teacher Siobhan.

In The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, fifteen years old Christopher stands beside Mrs Shears' dead dog. It has been speared with a garden fork, it is seven minutes after midnight and Christopher is under suspicion. He records each fact in the book he is writing to solve the mystery of who murdered Wellington.

He has an extraordinary brain, exceptional at maths while ill-equipped to interpret everyday life. He has never ventured alone beyond the end of his road, he detests being touched and he distrusts strangers. But his detective work, forbidden by his father, takes him on a frightening journey that upturns his world.

The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time was adapted for the stage by playwright Simon Stephens.
